Hi Everyone!Well things are just moving along!....Kasim Sulton's Band are rocking out great shows!!.
Reviews of the band have been nothing less than FANTASTIC! Stay tuned for more dates to be added.
New photos are being added to the photo albums as they come in. Thanks to Whitney Burr for sending in these great photos from Chicago! (see more in photo section)
And remember the Kasim gig at the Abbey Pub in Chicago on Friday, October 16th was recorded.
The fantastic folks at After Show Music are once again bringing Kasim to those who could not attend the show and to those who were there and just can't get enough of Kasim LIVE! This was the FIRST OFFICIAL recording of Kasim's new band!

There are some great things going on in the coming weeks............
Mark Alexander has joined Kasim Sulton's new
band!!!
That's right!......along with producing MICHAEL WEINSTEIN'S jazz CD and working on his own material MARK ALEXANDER is teaming up with the highly coveted singer/song writer KASIM SULTON.
That's right!......along with producing MICHAEL WEINSTEIN'S jazz CD and working on his own material MARK ALEXANDER is teaming up with the highly coveted singer/song writer KASIM SULTON.
The band will consist of Kasim Sulton guitar/vocals, Mark Alexander on Piano/vocals, Mike Chiavaro on Bass and Tad McCully on Drums.
You can catch shows 4 shows starting in October. (See Tour Page)
with more being added into the near future.

MARK ALEXANDER SIGNS DEAL TO PRODUCE JAZZ PIANO ALBUM !!
Mark
has just signed a deal with Creative Entity Music to produce an album
for widely acclaimed jazz pianist and personal friend of mine, Michael
Weinstein (http://www.myspace.com/mweinsteinmusic).
The album will feature a unique blend of classic rock songs, jazz tunes
and other songs from the 1970’s, 80’s and 90’s while incorporating a
contemporary style of jazz, blues and funk.
It
will also include original songs by Mark and Michael as well as feature
Mark playing keyboards on many of the songs along with Michael. I’m
really looking forward to the release of this record later this year
and will keep everyone posted to its progress!

Michael Weinstein's new song "Imagine" by John Lennon (produced by Mark Alexander is now available on Michael Weinstein's MYSPACE site for listening.
What a great bluesy version of this song.! It features Michael on the Bosendofer Grand Piano, Randy Flowers (Meat Loaf) on electric guitar and Mark Alexander on the Hammond B3 organ and (other instruments)
Michael, Mark and Randy did a fantastic job and added so much to this song!
